Seeing is an art.
Everybody does not know how to see.

The first part of seeing is concentration.
A person may be seeing something, but his mind may be on some other object.
His seeing, then, becomes equivalent to not seeing.
The object in view is not seen in its entirety.

The second part of the art of seeing is Animesh preksha (fixed vision) or tratak.
With Animesh preksha one can see the various aspects of the object.

Can anyone learn the art of seeing without practicing Animesh preksha?
