Encouragement can make a weak person strong just as discouragement can make the strongest, weak.
The following episode from the Mahabharata serves as an example:
Krishna gave encouragement to Arjun and Arjun emerged victorious.
Shalya kept discouraging Karna, belittling him, and the great archer suffered defeat.
To have strength is one thing, its expression, another.
Encouragement is essential for the manifestation of strength.
