Perception is power. Perception is strange power. There is pain in the body somewhere. Treat it as a point and put your finger firmly on it. Make a resolve and fix your inner vision on that point. It is not necessary to use your eyes. Use only your inner vision. After ten or twenty minutes you would experience that you have no pain at all. Why does it happen? We must understand its reason. All the activities of our body are done through the prana. It is the brain which controls the whole body. The brain functions with the help of electric waves, and the chemicals. When we look at something, various chemicals are produced in our body. Man cannot imagine the large number of the chemicals so produced in our body. A single exhalation of ours embodies 400 chemicals. When ones emotions are pure and he is dominated by the positive feeling, good chemicals are produced. It is through one's emotions that the chemicals produced while looking at something. When emotions are pure, nectar-like chemicals are produced. If the emotions are opposite, poisonous chemicals would be produced.

Our health has a very close connection with emotions. An officer treated his employee contemptuously. Such a contemptuous treatment of the officer would disturb the functioning of the digestive system of the employee. It is not an illness at all. The person is healthy, but when someone who is close shows such contempt, the digestive system suddenly goes away. If there is a sudden outburst of anger, the result would be asthma. A person is eager to say something, but gets no chance to express himself. The feeling suppressed in the mind would result in migraine. If there is an anxious memory, unfulfilled desire in mind, the result would be loss of appetite. He would not feel hungry at all, because he is possessed with an anxious memory. When a strong wish to do something is not fulfilled, it would lead to an illness. The scientists of today have studied such emotions and illnesses through a number of tests. On this subject a book has been published in Japan in which it is mentioned as to which emotions can produce such and such diseases.
