Art historian, research scholar, editor and curator Dr. Saryu Doshi began her career as visiting professor at the University of Michigan, before teaching at the University of Pune (India) and Berkeley. In 1996 she was appointed as Honorary Director of the newly founded National Gallery of Modern Art in Mumbai and later held charge as protem-Chairman of the Lalit Kala Akademi in Delhi . Dr. Doshi is curator of the exhibition “The Splendor of India’s Architectural Heritage”.
