About

President of ANUVRAT GLOBAL ORGANIZATION (ANUVIBHA)

Sohan Lal Gandhi did his MA in the early 1960's in English and Sociology at Rajasthan University. Later he acquired his M.Litt in English literature. In his professional life he was an English teacher in India. His later life he dedicated entirely for the cause of peace and nonviolence and Jainism, as a disciple of Acharya Tulsi and Acharya Mahapragya respectively. He received his PhD. degree at the Intercultural Open University in The Netherlands in 1997, on a dissertation titled: On Acharya Tulsi's Contribution to Social Excellence through Anuvrat Movement. Gandhi lectured frequently on these subjects in many countries all over the world, including at functions of the United Nations in New York and at The Parliaments of the World's Religions in Chicago and Cape Town. At present, besides fulfilling many other international functions, he is President of Anuvibha and Board member of the Intercultural Open University, now a Foundation.
