Anuvibha in Jaipur, the capital city of Rajasthan has hosted many small and big programs, seminars, workshops and camps under the presence and guidance of His Holiness Acharya Shri Mahapragya, the supreme head of the Jain Swetambar Terapanth sect. He is also the spiritual inspirator of Jain Vishva Bharati University, Ladnun. The University does not believe in mere accumulation of information, it believes knowledge is that which is able to apply theoretical information to practice. The Science of Living department of the University organized a day’s workshop for the Post Graduate students from Jaipur in Science of Living Preksha Meditation and Yoga on 24th August.

The students of Science of Living Preksha Meditation and Yoga are currently all busy and engaged in their own profession of teaching, administrative services, business, homemakers and doctors. It was a great opportunity for the old and new students to meet each other once again and reconnect with Science of Living and Preksha Meditation.

The workshop started with the speech of Dr. Anand Prakash Tripathi, Head Distance Education Program. He briefly talked about the expansion of Jain Vishva Bharati University through integrating many more innovative courses both for regular studies and distance education. This was followed by the usual discourse of Yuvacharya Mahashraman ji. The students who came from different parts of the city and varied background got the opportunity to enrich themselves from the discourse of His Holiness Acharya Shri Mahapragya who graced the occasion.

The second part of the workshop was carried out in the guidance of Yuvacharya Shri Mahashramanji. In this, each student introduced themselves about their present occupation and in future how they plan to incorporate Preksha Meditation. There were people from all walks of life and had great enthusiasm about combing Preksha Meditation with work. This session ended with a short speech by Yuvacharya Shri Mahashramanji. He said that the practice of Science of Living and Preksha Meditation should first begin from oneself to transform the negative emotions into positive emotions. It can then be truly carried out at work and benefit others. This was then followed by lunch.

After the lunch Dr. A.P.Tripathi was heading the session. Each student got sufficient time to talk about his activities and discuss practical problems in the way. Many interesting ideas came out in this session and some realistic solutions to common problems. Hearing the experiences of there Alumni inspired many students. One by one Dr. A.P. Tripathi answered to the questions raised by students. Then he ended the session by delivering a lecture encouraging students to enroll for the PhD program. He described the whole process in detail and clarified all the doubts raised by the students regarding the PhD program.

Muni Kishanlal geared up the student body in the last part of the workshop. He reviewed the workshop emphasizing on the importance in today’s context. He demonstrated some newly developed techniques in Preksha Meditation. He also motivated those students who showed interest in PhD. The students looked happy as the workshop ended with positive energy and immense hope for future interactions.
