Acharya Mahapragya: Self Analysis is crucial to be in state of happiness

Self Analysis is crucial to be in state of happiness and to sustain that state. Whether it is the field of profession or of a religion, we should constantly supervise our actions & activity. Success never becomes the partner of person who analyzes others & forgets about himself. Constant supervision on intensity of anger, greed, desires & other similar emotions is essential for diving in the ocean of happiness & success.

Highly triggered emotions push man towards the way of violence and controlled & lower intensified takes to the highway of non-violence. Person who has deficit of harsh words, use calmness as a weapon against anger, possess the skill of forgiveness & developed the art of acquiring qualities is the ideal person having the controlled & low degree emotions. Forgiveness is the quality of courageous & gracious human being. Without forgiveness, life will be on its extreme of misery.

Untamed acute passions cultivate tension. This leads the downfall in the saint’s characteristics. Person who wish to develop the competencies, who love to climb the ladders of success and above all who wants a peaceful living then he must practice to tame his emotions and bring them to the lowest possible degree.

The above views are expressed by Acharya Mahapragya addressing the morning session at Shrimad Maghva Samavasaran in Bidasar.

Yuvacharya Mahashraman nourishing further the thoughts of people said that control over senses is a very important practice of spirituality.

Control is a life partner of saint round the clock. Till there is security guard of control in life, sayam of a saint is safe. Saint should be conscious about the actions where sluggishness creeps silently. If we need to speak, then it is too with the full awareness. It is good to develop the habit to avoid unnecessary dialogues. Even if a saint walks, he should be accompanied with maximum silence. This quiet walking is also a very big exercise of controlling senses. Eating, walking, speaking - all these are very big experiment to move upward in the field of spirituality. While discussing the goods & bad of speech, he said that the two mischievous friends of speech are to speak without requirement & to expand it unnecessarily. And the two trustworthy friends are less talk and meaningful talk. Person taming the speech must practice to express in minimum words.
