The Enigma Of The Universe : Other Theories of Beginning of the Universe

Published: 17.10.2014

The already discussed theory of Dr. Gamow and Abbe Lemaitre suggest a definite time of creation. Also there are other clues which give the same suggestion.

The radio-active1 property of uranium serves as a clock. The estimations of the age of radio-active elements tell us that they came into existence five billion years ago.2 This number was two billion years formerly,[1]  but it was found incorrect.

The transmutation of matter into radiation in the interior parts of the stars enables astronomers to compute the duration of stellar life, and the figure they reach is two billion years on the average.[2]

Thus we see that different time of beginning has been suggested by different scientists. We may summarize them thus.

Hubble’s constant as modified and Prof.Ryle

10 billion years

Dr. George Gamow and radioactive clock.

5 billion years

Heisenberg

4 billion years

Stellar Transmutation

2 billiion years
