His Holiness Acharya shree set off from Poorvameer. Local sarpanch Shree Jeetendra Singh and many villagers walked a long distance along with Acharya Shree. Shree Dayaram kachva thakur and many other villagers came along with their families. They said that they generally do not wake up before nine in the morning but today they woke up by five and had their bath and were present to offer their services to Gurudev.
The bridge over the Pandu river gained sanctity once Gurudev set his foot on it. The flow of the river and the fertile fields were a nature's delight. The green and dense fields of pigeon pea,sugar cane, potato, banana,bamboo,wheat, mustard and many were describing the fertility of this region and also glorifying the hard work of the peasants.
Acharya Shree crossed the borders of Kanpur and entered the district of Fatehpur. The sub inspector Shree Balakrishna sharma of Kanpur met Gurudev and took his leave. Shree Sharma would walk everyday along with Gurudev during his travels in the Kanpur district. He had an enormous feeling of deference towards Acharya Shree. On the route the villagers of Chivali, Rahasupur, Durgaganj, Badahaar,Gadhi and the workers of Lakshmi Cotton factory took a vow to be addiction free with the holy inspiration of Acharya Shree. Gurudev reached Oong after travelling for 9 kms. The local inspector met Gurudev in the way and was benefitted with His holy guidance.
The principal Shree Shree chand Arya gave Gurudev a warm reception. During the day's program Gurudev inspired all present to be devoted towards their goals. The students and the villagers present there took up the resolutions of the Ahimsa Yatra.
Welcoming Acharya,the principal Shree Arya said "Ahimsa Yatra is the need of the hour. The great effort that Acharya Shree has undertaken is historical. The coming generations will remember this revolution with respect."The custodian of the school Shree Surendar Sharma offered his soulful respects to Acharya Shree.
31 जनवरी। परम पूज्य आचार्यवर ने प्रातः पुरवामीर से प्रस्थान किया। स्थानीय सरपंच श्री जितेन्द्रसिंह आदि अनेक ग्रामीण काफी दूर तक विहार में साथ चले। श्री दयाराम कच्छवा ठाकुर आदि अनेक ग्रामवासी सपरिवार आए थे। उन्होंने बताया कि हम प्रतिदिन प्रातः नौ बजे से पहले नहीं उठते, किन्तु आज तो पांच बजे ही नींद उड़ गई ओर हम लेाग स्नान कर गुरुजी की सेवा में हाजिर हो गए।
पाण्डु नदी के ऊपर निर्मित पुल पूज्यचरणों के स्पर्श से पावनता को प्राप्त हुआ। नदी में बहता जल और उसके पास होने वाली सघन खेती से मार्ग प्राकृतिक रमणीयता लिए हुए था। अरहर, ईख आलू, केला, बांस, गेहूं, सरसों आदि की खेती से हरितिमा लिए हुए यह क्षेत्र यहां की भूमि की उपजशक्ति तथा यहां के कृषकों के पुरुषार्थ की गाथा बयां कर रही थी।
आचार्यवर ने मार्ग में कानपुर जिले की सीमा को अतिक्रान्त कर फतेहपुर जिले की सीमा में प्रवेश किया। कानपुर के सबइन्सपेक्टर श्री बालकृष्ण शर्मा ने पूज्यवर के दर्शन कर विदा ली। श्री शर्मा कानपुर जिले में विहारों के दौरान प्रतिदिन पूज्यवर की सेवा में साथ चले। आचार्यवर के प्रति उनके मन में विशेष श्रद्धाभाव परिलक्षित हुआ। मार्गवर्ती छिवली, रहसूपुर, दुर्गागंज, बड़ा हार, गदी के ग्रामीणों तथा लक्ष्मी काॅटन फेक्टरी के कर्मचारियों ने आचार्यवर की पावन प्रेरणा से नशामुक्ति का संकल्प स्वीकार किया। आचार्यवर नौ किमी का विहार कर ओंग पधारे। स्थानीय थानेदार श्री नरसिंह मार्ग में पूज्यवर के दर्शन और पावन पथदर्शन से लाभान्वित हुए।
प्रधानाध्यापक श्री श्रीचन्द आर्य ने आचार्यवर का भावभीना स्वागत किया। प्रातःकालीन कार्यक्रम के अंतर्गत परम श्रद्धेय आचार्यवर ने लक्ष्य के प्रति समर्पित रहने की प्रेरणा प्रदान की। समुपस्थित विद्यार्थियों और ग्रामवासियों ने आचार्यप्रवर से अहिंसा यात्रा के संकल्प स्वीकार किए। विद्यालय के प्रधानाध्यापक श्री श्रीचन्द आर्य ने आचार्यवर का स्वागत करते हुए कहा- ‘अहिंसा यात्रा आज की जरूरत है। आचार्यश्री महाश्रमणजी ने महाश्रम का जो बीड़ा उठाया है, वह ऐतिहासिक है। आने वाला युग आपकी इस क्रान्ति को श्रद्धा से याद करेगा।’ विद्यालय के संरक्षक श्री सुरेन्द्र शर्मा ने भी पूज्यवर की अभ्यर्थना में भावपूर्ण उद्गार व्यक्त किए।
