Donate Life Run/Walk 2015 to Honor Mahendra Desai - Saturday, April 25

From the Desai Family:
As some of you may know, our family is supporters of the Donate Life organization.  We will be taking part in the 13th Annual Donate Life Run Walk to benefit OneLegacy Foundation on April 25, 2015 at Cal State Fullerton. We’d like to invite you to join our team and contribute to this great organization.

This year we will be participating in honor of our father, Mahendra Desai. As most of you know, in 2001, Mahendra received the gift of life - a heart transplant. Because of this, he was able to live 13 more fulfilling years. He was always a strong advocate for the Donate Life organization just in hopes that he would be able to help more people receive this gift and raise awareness. Over the past several years, he worked with Amita kaki’s students and school faculty from Valdez Middle School Academy to facilitate their participation in the event. The students have been volunteering and giving their time to help this great cause. Each year more and more students come to help!

Below is information from Donate Life to sign up to participate in the Run/Walk and foundation. Online registration deadline is April 22. Hope to see you there!

Follow This Link to visit our team web page to sign up for our team and make contributions to help us in our efforts to support OneLegacy Foundation.

Your tax-deductible contribution will help to save and heal lives by inspiring and advancing donation and transplantation of organs and tissues through research, public education, and honoring donors whose legacies live on. Any amount, great or small, helps OneLegacy and Donate Life get closer to the goal to inspire people to become organ and tissue donors. The gift of donation is rare and precious and nearly 18 people die each day waiting for a lifesaving organ.
