His Holiness Acharya Mahashraman pointed out the importance of tyaga or renunciation during his Sermon at Harisidhi village (Bihar). He explained that self-motivated renunciation that is done willingly is real renunciation. Even when offered objects of his/her liking, the tyagi remains unaffected (without any craving). Thus, real renunciation paves the way for happiness in one's life.
