As a reminder, Jains Got Talent is one of the highlights of the upcoming convention. It offers you a unique opportunity to showcase your talent in front of the entire Jain Community during Jaina Convention in Atlanta from July 3-5, 2015.
Singers, Magicians, Dancers, Comedians, etc…can now compete to be the winner.

YOUTH PROGRAMMING

 KIDS CORNER
 
  • The Opening Parade of Jain Centers is on Friday, July 3rd.
  • All children are invited to come enjoy the parade with their parents and families!
  • Kid's Club check-in will start at 12:45pm after lunch.
  • Youth Activities Programming Committee is working around the clock to make sure your 2015
  • JAINA Convention experience is unforgettable. We are planning fun filled activities, dancing, hands
  • on activities, workshops and seminar sessions like building self-confidence.
  • Parent or legal guardian must sign liability waiver if participant is under 18 years of age for participating in independent activities. 
 YOUTH ACTIVITIES
 
  • Youth activities are being developed to fulfill on the following intentions. The first is for youth to increase their understanding of Jain spirituality and principle awareness through a theory and real-world experience. These sessions will also improve leadership skills by engaging Jain youth with individuals with technical expertise, to inspire and motivate Jain youth. Throughout the convention they will create long lasting friendships to strengthen the youth network into the next generation. Creating Jain friendships creates community and creating community keeps our culture going.
  • Parent or legal guardian must sign liability waiver if participant is under 18 years of age for participating in independent activities.
JAIN MILAN
 
  • Jain Milan provides an opportunity for Jain youth throughout North America and around the world to meet in person, to make friends, to engage in networking, to develop business contacts and to possibly find a life partner. Jain Milan sessions are facilitated in as many ways possible through Ice-breakers, interactive sessions, Mixers, Meet & Greet Events, Relationship Workshops, Garba/Raas and Lake Cruise.

  • Jain Milan registrants can attend JNF, and YJP and general adult programs. 

JAIN NETWORKING FORUM
  Jain Network Forum (JNF) (age 21-40) is open to young Jains, who are interested in social networking. JNF provides a strong network of young Jains through social and spiritual activities. JNF activities utilize attendees' diverse backgrounds and interests to build friendships and carry Jain dharma into the next generation. JNF ensures to increase awareness through interactive sessions that relate Jain theory to real-world issues; and provide sufficient social opportunities to strengthen the network.  
YOUNG JAIN PROFESSIONALS
  Young Jain Professionals (YJP) (age 21-40) is open to young Jains, who are interested in professional networking. YJP provides a strong network of young Jains through professional activities. YJP activities utilize attendees' diverse backgrounds and interests to build friendships, and carry Jain dharma into the next generation. YJP ensures to increase awareness through interactive sessions that relate Jain theory to real-world issues; improve professional skill set with individuals in similar fields to inspire & motivate youth.

NOTE: JNF and YJP can attend all programs including general adult programs except those specifically geared towards Jain Milan.
