Youngsters of Jain community of Indore came up with a signature campaign on a 108-feet canvas against Rajasthan High Court ban on 'santhara' ritual followed by Jain community that has been considered suicide by court.
President of Jain youth wing Deepak Jain said, "We have started a signature campaign at Rajwada against the ban on santhara ritual. It should not be considered equivalent to suicide".
Community youth also urged followers to wear
black bands on their wrists to protest against this ban.
