Terapanth Professional Forum Raipur
Terapanth Professional Forum Raipur Branch organized a programe on PARENTING SKILLS on 25th October 2015 at Lal Ganga Patwa Bhawan, Tagore Nagar, Raipur Chhattisgarh in the pious presence of Sadhvi Rakesh Kumari ji.
The Programme started with the welcome speech of CA Mahavir Prasad Jain, President of TPF Raipur Branch.
CA Ritu Choraria, the newly elected National Vice President {East}, Eastern Zonal President briefly infor med the participants about the activities of the TPF highlighting Medhavi Chhatra Protsahan Pariyojna and Medical Camp. She also requested the members to join and support Medhavi Chhatra Protsahan scheme.
The session on PAREN TING SKILLS was beautifully conducted by renowned trainer Shri Shekhar Baid. Beginning with his session, he asked the gathering to share "What are the problems in life" and then explained the ways in which a parent should handle the same. He explained that "NEVER TAKE PROBLEM AS PROBLEM"-It should be taken as a challenge and we should h ave energy to solve the problems. Through the First five alphabets of A; B; C; D; E he explained that:
A: Accept the challenges willingly
B: Brain Storming
C: Choose right solutions
D: Do it right now
E: Evaluate
We should think positive and care for our child. Providing every facility to a child is not only the responsibility of the parents but they should spend quality time with the children. The parents should CARE i.e.
C: Come closer to children.
A: Allow to do them, then only they will feel the responsibilities and will be able to come across the truth of the life.
R: Respect their feelings.
E: Educate manners.
Addressing the gathering Sadhvi Shri Rakesh Kumariji said that inculcating good manners and culture is essential in children. Children learn from what they observe and from the environment, they live in. The family is the first teacher of a child so we should teach them good manners, culture and values. We should try to build confidence, great thinking and responsibility in every child.
The programme was well coordinated by Shri Surendra Jain Choraria, Shri Kaushal Gandhi and Shri Avinash Jain, members of TPF Raipur Branch. Smt. Indu Lodha anchored the programme successfully.
