International Conference on Science and Jain Philosophy [ICSJP]

INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON

SCIENCE AND JAIN PHILOSOPHY

January 8 - 10, 2016    |    Venue: IIT Bombay

Theme: Avenues of Scientific Research in Jain Philosophy

The International Conference aims to provide a global platform to scientists, scholars, academicians, seers and philosophers to meet, discuss, deliberate and disseminate the vast ocean of scientific knowledge and ancient wisdom found in Jain Philosophy. Their thought provoking ideas, novel models and wisdom will open up new avenues of scientific research in Jain Philosophy and help researchers in their search for the ultimate truth.

It is time that the knowledge found in the Jain canonical texts be understood, researched and used for establishing a society free from violence, immorality, inequality and injustice. The research and findings would enable sustainable development and foster inclusive growth. There is also a dire need to integrate ancient wisdom and modern technology to develop an efficient system of education for creating a "smart" but enlightened society.
