At Halingali, Dist. Bagalkot, Karnataka, Jain temples, premises and all are demolished today (Dec 02, 2015) by Karnataka govt, Administration of Bagalkot. More news yet to come. It is said, it is a result of dispute between Jains and other caste people who were claiming it illegal. They are in power locally and they complained against it. And without knowing the facts, Adminitration and govt demolished all Jain properties.

FYI, this is the same place where 7 or 8 precious, old Jain images were found from Hill named Bhadragiri there (same place which is demolished).

Bhadragiri is the place where Bhadrabahu and Chandragupt Maurya had stayed during their visit to Shramanbelgola.

This is shamefule act and disgusting.
