Acharya Mahashraman trekked aggressively through the difficult mountain region and reached Bardibas on 2nd June instead of earlier planned 8th June. Reaching Bardibas meant crossing over the risky mountain region and entering the plains in Nepal. Mahashramani Sadhvi Pramukha Kanakprabha aimed to see H.H. at Bardibas and completed a hectic travel through dense forests.

30th May:

Acharya Mahashraman started from Dungrebas towards Karkare in the morning. Chief District Officer of Sindhuli District visited H.H. on the way. Local DSP Mr. S K Mahato together with other Police personnel got guidance on value based living from H.H. in front of the local Police station.

Leading a big caravan, H.H. arrived near to the other end of the difficult mountainous route. The trekking adversities have reduced and danger of landslides has also significantly come down. After a walk of 12.5 KM, H.H. arrived at Karkare.

Today’s camping took place at Kamala Higher Secondary School. IG of Nepal Police Mr. Ganesh Rai visited H.H. today.

Acharya Mahashraman on the way towards Bheeman

Acharya Mahashraman started from Karkare towards Bheeman in the morning. Both sides of the road had beautiful farms. H.H. stopped at few occasions to see farming of pineapple and lychee.

After a walk of 9.5 KM, H.H arrived at Bheeman. Today’s camping took place at Kamala Higher Secondary School. 

1st June:


Acharya Mahashraman started from Bheeman towards Ratu, Kalapani in the morning. Many villagers joined the Ahimsa Yatra caravan. H.H. inspired them for addiction free life and they vowed to quit addiction.

H.H. crossed over the border of Sindhuli district and entered Mahottari district. On this occasion, the Chief District Officer Mr. Deepak Kafre, DSP Mr. Ramesh Pandit, Mr. Lokendra Shrestha, SP of Special Task Force Mr. S. P. Silva welcomed H.H.

After a walk of 7.5 KM, H.H. arrived at Shree Rashtriya Saraswati Secondary School in Ratu, Kalapani. Today’s camping took place at the school premises.

As it is “Chaturdashi” (14th day in Lunar/India calendar) today, “Haazari” (ritual for monks to recapitulate on monkhood rules and guidelines) was organized. H.H. also remembered Shashan Shree Sadhvi Kamal Shree Ji and meditated on “Logassa” hymns, as she had left for heavenly abode with observation of fasting few days ago in Kota, Rajasthan.

Acharya Mahashraman on the way towards Bardibas

Acharya Mahashraman started towards Bardibas in the morning. Reaching Bardibas meant crossing over the difficult mountain region and arriving at the plains of Nepal. Bhogte Khola River kept accompanying Ahimsa Yatra today.

Facing the risks of landslides, earthquake and many other challenges for journey from Kathmandu to Bardibas, Acharya Mahashraman successfully crossed over the mountain region bearing all the adversities with strong determination and will power.

It was 2 more KM to reach Bardibas. Mahashramani Sadhvi Pramukha together with nuns was ready to receive H.H.  Acharya Shree went near Mahashramani Ji and sat down for a while. Mahashramani Ji is seeing H.H. once again after 54 days. Nuns accompanying Mahashramani Ji recited a poem written in Rajasthani by Mahashramani Ji for this occasion.

H.H. and Mahashramani Ji continued towards Bardibas and arrived at today’s camp site at Devarali Higher Secondary School in Bardibas. Mahashramani Ji and all the nuns paid obeisance to H.H. in normal procedure and exchanged fortnightly forgiveness. Total distance of today’s journey was 12 KM.

In the morning hour program, nuns expressed their happiness of seeing H.H. in form of songs. Monks presented H.H. travel experience from Hetauda to Bardibas through songs.

It’s a festival today

Mahashramani Ji in her speech said - “Today is festival for us. We have come back to Guru’s feet after a long time. H.H. had told us to be already there at Bardibas before H.H arrival. We started from Birgunj leisurely but sooner got to know about H.H. expected date of arrival at Bardibas will be earlier than planned. We sped up our pace. It was dense forest on the way with fear of nuisance from elephants and monkey. With H.H. blessings, we reached Bardibas smoothly on time.” Mahashramani Ji expressed her feelings in a beautiful song.

H.H. gave a brief highlight of travel from Hetauda onwards and stay in Kathmandu and expressed happiness of having Mahashramani Ji back with the caravan.
