Terapanth Mahila Mandal, North Howrah convened two days (2nd - 3rd April, 2016) Shree Utsava (fete) as per instructed by ABTMM. The chief guests of this programme was Mr. Amrit Singh Purohit, Veena Purohit, Rupa Ganguly, Area Candidate of Legislature, B.J.P. and Puja Mishra, National Secretary, Nari Morcha. They visited all the stalls in fete and encouraged the wemen.Fancy Dress and Card Making Competitions based on Clean India Mission were conducted among Gyanshala Students, Cake, Mocktail, Snacks and Makeup classes were given by Mahila Mandal and Kanya Mandal also staged a beautiful play 'Sacred Nation of Mahatma Gandhi' The fete is convened by Mahila Mandal annually to make women self-sufficient. All the age groups of the town took pleasure visiting various stalls of handmade creations, fooding and gaming. Women got a great chance to show their talent. It was an entertaining and knowledgeable fete for all. The whole team members of Terapanth Mahila Mandal, Uttar Howrah put their efforts to make this fete successful. The guests were welcomed by Veena Bhansali, President, Terapanth Mahila Mandal, Uttar Howrah, Vote of thanks was given by Alka Surana, Secretary, Terapanth Mahila Mandal, Uttar Howrah and it was successfully hosted by Leena Dugar, Rekha Baid and Seema Baid.
