Bordowa

After blessing Nagaon with 4 days of holy stay with the messages of Morality, Harmony and De-addiction Ahimsa Yatra reached Bordowa, the birthplace of the 15th century Saint, Srimanta Sankardev, Founder of Vaishnavism. Lay followers and local citizens accompanied the Vihar and Prime Sermon in a huge number. Devanand Dev Goswami, Parmanand Dev Mahant and Ankurlata Deka, Local MLA gratefully welcomed Ahimsa Yatra and were present in Prime Sermon. Bajren Kakoti, Secretary, Residency Governance Association offered his adoration in the holy feet of His Holiness. 44 little Aspirants melodiously sung the 'Guru Vandana'. School Students also presented the Bodo Geet.

Today's Prime Sermon was based on Rajoharan. His Holiness preached that, "generally we ascetics keep Rajoharan with us". Ascetics should keep a watch while walking during daytime and at night they have. no need to walk but if needed then they should sweep out with Rajoharan before walking so as not to harm small creatures like ants etc. It is a must for the ascetics to keep Pramarjani (A kind of small Rajoharan) with them especially at night. They should not walk without Rajoharan or Pramarjani anywhere. It is the most important equipment of an ascetic to follow the path of Ahimsa.
