A type of Lakṣaṇābhāṣa (pseudo-characteristic); the Lakṣaṇa (distinguishing characteristic) which is available in only one part of the lakṣya (the thing characterized by that particular Lakṣaṇa), e.g., the animals are the creatures which have horns.
