A kind of Matijñāna (perceptual cognition);
the innate Matijñāna which occurs independently of (Śruta such as) Āgama (2) (canonical work) or any other teachings.
sarvathā śāstrasaṃsparśarahitasya tathāvidhakṣayopaśamabhāvata evameva yathāvasthitavastusamsparśi matijñānamupajāyate tad aśrutaniśritam.
