For the upcoming weekly challenge, we are challenging the participants to "do 15 minutes of cardio activity every day." The whole purpose of this challenge is to increase your heart rate, exercise your heart muscles, and build your endurance. Cardio exercises are very important to keep your heart strong and healthy. They also help lower your cholesterol, burn fat, and reduces your risk of getting heart disease. Please keep in mind to choose an exercise that you are comfortable with and also practice warming up, stretching, and cooling down for these activities. Always make sure you are properly hydrated during these activities and carry sufficient water with you.  If you are interested in learning more and participating, click here.

TCCOP Clothes Collection Drive - Sept 11, 2016

A container of medical supplies will be going to Zambia, Africa very soon. We have a rare opportunity to help those in need that reside in this area by donating American clothing. We will include these donations with the already scheduled medical supply shipment. TCCOP will be collecting "gently used" American clothing at the Derasar on 11th September, 2016 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

If you choose to donate clothing ensure it has been cleaned and properly folded. Please do not leave any clothes at the front desk if a TCCOP team member or volunteer is not present. Please bring them in a BLACK plastic bag.

Note: We ask that all donations are American clothing only please do not bring any Indian attire, purse or shoes. Do not bring on any other day or time. This is final day of the collection.

        1) Animal Sanctuary in Boulder, Colorado.

Shaleen Shah and his wife have started an animal sanctuary (Panjrapole) in Boulder, Colorado, USA since the past one year. In this year, they have not only saved the lives of 30+ animals, but have also saved thousands more through their outreach and education to promote a pure vegetarian lifestyle.

They have started the Luvin Arms Animal Sanctuary. They have created a small booklet to tell their story, and show the work that they are doing.

Please view the digital copy of booklet, and a couple of videos here:
        https://www.luvinarms.org/ahimsa/

With Paryushan coming up around the corner, it maybe a great time to talk about the work of saving lives and putting 'Ahimsa into Action' for our community.

Please support this organisation by reading about it and spreading word of mouth about the same.

For any further questions please contact Shaleen Shah on (904) 612-6000
