A type of Pratyākhyāna (1) (formal resolve (vow) of abstinence));

in which the taking meals is restricted to once a day, sitting at one place.

egāsaṇagaṃ nāma putā bhūmīto ṇa cālijjaṃti, sesāṇi hatthe pāyāṇi cālejjāvi.
