Kaṣāya-pratisaṃlīnatā

Practice of seclusion with respect to passions-

A type of Pratisaṃlīnatā (a kind of external austerity);

inhibition of rise of anger, conceit, deciet and greed, and to render the passions which are in the state of Udaya (rise) ineffective.

kohassudayaniroho vā ndayapattassa vā kohassa vipha līkaranam, mānassndayaniroho va udayapattassa vāmānassa viphalīkaranatn, māyāudayaniroho vā udayapattāe vā māyāe viphalīkaranam lohassudayaniroho vā udayapattassa va lohassa viphalīkaranam. se tam kasāyapadisamlīnayā.
