Today is Deepawali - the festival of light. This is the day on which Mahavira attained salvation and Gandhar Gautam attained Kevalgyana. In the Prime Sermon, His Holiness Acharya Mahashraman recited a very good Shloka of Jap and inspired the lay followers to meditate on it for half an hour or 1 hour. He preached that this shloka could be recited on the occasion of Deepawali. If this shloka cannot be learnt then they could recite a smaller shloka. This shloka means that although Mahavira is the exquisite soul in the world, all those souls are exquisite who have progressed in Sadhana. Therefore it is said that Arhant is exquisite in the world, Siddha is exquisite in the world and Sadhu is also exquisite in the world but the main thing is that the Dharm enlightened by a Kevali is exquisite in the world.
