Shri Chandana Vidyapeeth (SCVP) & Young Jains join together to bring you an ideal opportunity to be with nature & replenish our environment with tree planting at Heartwood Forest in St Albans. All ages welcome & children will love taking part too!
Acharya Chandanaji says that everyone should plant at least 10 trees in their lifetime - so make a start on the 27th of November & join us for this energising activity where we can make a real impact to our environment together.
We will meet at the carpark at 10am & then take a shuttlebus to the site so please be on time. Please note that departure will be at 1.30pm (you will not be able to leave earlier, as access is via minibus). The car park postcode is AL4 9DQ. It is situated off the B651, the main road that runs from Sandridge to Wheathampstead - follow the brown signs!
We recommend wearing boots/strong shoes, lots of layers, a waterproof jacket & bring a bottle of water & any snacks you may need. Refreshments will be available to buy at the cafe they have there. We will provide light refreshments at the end!
Please also bring a spade with you if possible.
Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult volunteer.
