This year’s findings show a complex picture of the changing trends of terrorism. While there was a notable fall in the number of deaths attributed to terrorist incidents in 2015 when compared to the previous year - the first decline since 2010, the overall GTI score deteriorated by 6% due to many countries experiencing record levels of terrorism.
