Nomination For New JAYA Committee Members For 2017

Jai Jinendra,

We are ready to end the year with our current JAYA (Jain Association of Young Adults) committee and would like to invite new members to come join in helping make JAYA a success for the upcoming year!! We had an amazing 2016 year with successful events such as Bowling for a Charity, Desi Masti, Paruyshan (Swapna Ceremony) and the Diwali Mela!!! Our committee worked really hard this year to put these events together for our community and a special thanks to each and every one of them for all their hard work and dedication.

Wellness Challenge - Avoid 3 White Refined Carbs

For the upcoming weekly challenge, we are challenging the participants to "avoid three white refined carbs." They are highly processed foods and are stripped of minerals, nutrients, and fibers. When looking at our daily Jain meal, we tend to use a lot of these white refined carbs.
