A wise person of sharp intelligence should remain conscious even among those who sleep. He should not be complacent as time is relentless and the body is weak. So he should always be vigilant like the fabulous bird Bharanda.

Roj Ki Ek Salaah

Years come and go. This is not significant. What is significant is that each passing year becomes a reflection of progress of the inner self.

The Secret of Anekanta: The Opening of the Third Eye

The Acharyas of Anekanta have said that there is nothing permanent or impermanent in the world. The eye that looks for permanence is one and the eye that looks for impermanence is another. But the third eye is that which sees the truth. When that third eye opens, a third category comes into being. That is neither permanent nor impermanent. One man sees equality, another sees inequality. But with the opening of the third eye, there is no equality or inequality, everything is both equal and unequal......making for a separate category. The opening of the third eye or the creation of the third category is the secret of Anekanta. As long as we continue to live between two categories, we will not be able to catch the truth but will find ourselves eternally grappling with truth and untruth.

Gyanshala & Youth Forum Community Project

On Dec 10, 2016, under the guidance of Samanijis, JVBNJ Gyanshala & Youth Forum children embarked on their annual holiday community project to aid the underprivileged strata of society. This year's project involved preparing and serving vegan meals to the homeless and the needy in collaboration with Hunger Van. With the help of teachers and parents, the children prepared 125+ meals at the JVBNJ CPPM, and distributed these in the Newark, NJ area. This was a tremendously fulfilling and learning experience for the children and adults alike. The event was coordinated by Community Outreach coordinator Ashish Jain, and Gyanshala coordinator Prachi Shah and her team.

Samanijis led the attendees through extremely engaging and interactive sessions outlining these stories and explaining their messages. In addition, attendees also got an opportunity to delve into the details and intricacies of Karma Theory. The workshop was very well received by more than 20 attendees.
