On behalf of the Federation of Jain Associations in North America (JAINA), it is our great pleasure to extend you an invitation to attend the 19th Biennial JAINA Convention to be held in New Jersey Convention & Expo Center, Edison, NJ, USA from Friday, June 30 to Tuesday, July 4, 2017. A stimulating program is being developed to meet the interests of all segments and age groups of the expected 5000 attendees and to ensure an enriching and memorable convention experience for all.
The convention theme is: "Jainism and Science". Many spiritual dignitaries, scientists, and professionals from all corners of the world will showcase how Jain principles, values and heritage have numerous links to science. They will elaborate on the ways in which Jainism had an understanding of today’s environmental challenges, and of science, centuries ago. We plan to have six tracks i.e. 1) Jainism and Science 2) Jain Education 3) Jain Diaspora 4) Quality of life 5) Community and Social Services and 6) Others - Professional, Entrepreneur, Ecology and others. We will have lectures and sessions each day on these tracks to make this event successful and memorable one. There will be Religious and Spiritual discourses by prominent sadhus, sadhvis & scholars
JAINA conventions provide unique opportunities for Professional Networking and Entrepreneurship and Alumni, Community and Family reunions.
For our youth, there will be many thoughtfully designed programs for children and youth groups for each age group and pride of JAINA - Jain Academic bowl where various pathshala kids compete in a game show format to test their religious knowledge. Volunteers are busy selecting a Variety of Entertainment Programs and providing Delicious Jain and Vegan Food.
