Sadhvi Kunthu Shree Ji and Sadhvi Piyush Prabha Ji welcomed at South Howrah on reaching from South India

Sadhvi shree Kunthu Shree Ji, along with her fellow Sadhvis - Sadhvi Kanchan Rekha Ji, Sadhvi Sumangala Shree Ji and Sadhvi Sulabh Yasha Ji and Sadhvi Shree Dr. Piyush Prabha Ji, along with her fellow Sadhvis Sadhvi Bhavana Shree ji, Sadhvi Sudha Kumari Ji, and Sadhvi Dipti Yasha Ji reached South Howrah Terapanth Bhawan on 28th April, 2017

Sadhvi Kunthu Shree Ji and Sadhvi Piyush Prabha ji along with six fellow sadhvis reached South Howrah after completing successful Chaturmas at Vishakhapattanam and Hyderabad Respectively in the year 2016.
Sadhvishriji of both the groups with a procession of lay followers including Mahila Mandal members began their Journey from TULIP GARDEN at Bakultala and through Botanical Garden, Shalimar Gate, Kajipara, G.T. Road (South) reached South Howrah Terapanth Bhawan at 13, P. K. Banerjee Road, Howrah. During the Journey for the day Sadhvishriji also visited the Famous Botanical Garden at Shibpur, which has a world famous over 250 years old Great Banyan Tree with hundreds of branches. Sri Sushil Giria, Sri Rakesh choraria, Sri Bajrang Daga, Sri Manoj Kochar, Sri Pradip Pugalia, Surendra Sekhani, Bunti Manot, Sri Pawan Bengani, etc. along with many other Shrawaks and Shrawikas accompanied Sadhvishriji in the vihar in today’s yatra.

 After arrival of Sadhvishriji, a Welcome and Abhinandan program was organised by South Howrah Sabha. Sri Shikhar chand Lunawat, President of South Howrah Sabha welcomed Sadhvishriji. Mahila Mandal members also welcomed Sadhvishriji. In the morning discourse, which began at 9 A.M. Sadhvi Sadhvi Kunthu Shree Ji and Sadhvi Piyush Prabha ji and fellow Sadhvis expressed happiness on having completed the on foot journey of from both the places of South India by way of geetika and verse. Sadhvi Kunthu Shree Ji and Sadhvi Piyush Prabha ji said that we have obeyed the direction given by H. H. Acharyashree Mahashramanji during our last chaturmas at Vishakhapattanam and Hyderabad, respectively and today we have almost completed the same. We are happy to be here for the first time after Diksha. The lay followers throughout Andhra, Telangana, Orissa and up to Kolkata have acted responsibly to perform their duties as devoted shrawak/shrawikas.

 Sadhvishriji guided the lay followers to be more active and energetic for the forthcoming Chaturmas of Acharyashree at Kolkata. Chaturmas of Terapanth Acharya is happening at Kolkata after a long period of 59 years. Last time it was in the year 1959 A.D. when Chaturmas of Acharya Shri Tulsi was held at Mahasabha Bhawan, Kolkata. Renowned Jain scholar Sri Srichand choraria, former President of Kolkata Sabha Sri Jawarimal Nahata, former Secretary of Kolkata Sabha Sri Sushil Jain Choraria, Sri Sushil Giria (Sabha Vice president), Sri Basant Patawari (Secretary), Sri Madan Nahata (former Secretary of Sabha) were also present on the occasion along with many more lay followers. In the evening Sri Salil Lodha, General Secretary of Jai Tulsi Foundation came to south Howrah Sabha for darshan of sadhvishriji. He remembered many events of TPF at South India organised in pious presence of Sadhvishriji at both the places of Chaturmas.

On 27th March, both the group of Sadhvishreeji reached Bakultala, Shibpur, from Chandrani works, at Food Park, Dhulagarh, the place of Sri Bhanwarlal Baid (where they had stayed on 26th April, 2017) and via Andul Road, Howrah covering a distance of about 14 Kms. At Bakultala, Both the Shrawaks - Sri Vijay Kumar Choraria and Sri Rajendra Singh Bunty Manot had strong urge to have stay of Sadhvishriji at their respective homes. Sadhvishriji also obliged their requests and Sadhvi Kunthu Shree Ji and fellow Sadhvis stayed at TULIP GARDEN at the House of Manots and Sadhvi Dr. Piyush Prabhaji provided the benefit of shayyattar to the Choraria family of Tamkor at Manik Bhawan. Sri Bunty manot happens to be an active member of Terapanth Yuvak Parishad and Sri Vijay Kumar Choraria happens to be the Founder Trusee of south Howrah Sabha.
Sri Vijay Kumar Choraria’s elder brother Sri Tarachand choraria was the founder Vice President of South Howrah Sabha. They are sons of Late Manik Chand Choraria (Eldest worldly Brother of late Muni Sangeet Kumar Ji, and also Srichand Choraria, a renowned Jain Scholar) who happened to be a close childhood friend of Acharya Mahapragyaji in his worldly Life. All the members of Choraria family were happy to see Sadhvishri Piyush Prabhaji and fellow Sadhvis having one day’s stay at their home. Through out the day shrawaks and shrawikas from greater Kolkata came for Darshan of Shadhvi vrind. Smt. Suraj Bararia, General secretary of Acharya Mahashraman Prawas Vyawastha Samiti,2017 kolkata, Smt. Chandrakanta Pugalia (Former Secretary of South Howrah Mahila Mandal), Seema Pugalia, Dr. Sunita Sethia, Sri Rajendra Sethia (Worldly brother Of Sadhvi Piyush Prabha Ji), Smt. Sunita Chindalia, Sri Sushil Jain Choraria (former Secretary of S. J. S. T. SABHA, Kolkata and also a founder member of South Howrah Sabha) Eminent Jain Scholar Sri Srichand Choraria, and many more had the opportunity of Darshan of Sadhvishriji. In the afternoon a special discourse was organised for the workers and staff of Sri Vijay Choraria’s firm where about 100 people were taught the basics of a good disciplined life with moral and ethical values always in mind and respect for each other for peaceful co-existence.

Sri Sushil Choraria, a herenow4u correspondent, discussed in details the long on foot journey by Sadhvishriji from Hyderabad to Kolkata, including the places covered, programs organised and also the Rasta Seva by lay followers. Sadhvisrji and all fellow Sadhvis are visiting Kolkata for the first time after their Diksha as Jain nuns. Sri Srichand Choraria also had discussion on Sadhvishriji’s research work on Jain Agams. Sadhvi Piyush Prabha Ji also saw the work done by Sri Choraria on Jain Agam Kosh and various books edited by him with the blessing of Acharya Shri Tulsi, Acharya Shri Mahapragya and Acharya Shri Mahashramanji. He said that the latest book ‘Dhyan Kosh’ is in print. Sadhvishriji was happy to know about the mammoth work being done by him. This year at the 153rd Maryada Mahotsav at Siliguri, Sri Srichand Choraria was honoured as ‘Tatwagya Shrawak’ by Terapabthi Mahasabha with the blessings of H.H.Acharya Shri Mahashramanji.

Sadhvi shree Kunthu Shree Ji completed the on foot journey from Vishakhapattanam to South Howrah of about 1400 Kms. In 165 days During the Journey which began on 15th November,2016, the responsibility of Rasta Seva was ably borne by Terapanth Sabha, Vishakhapattanam up to Bhuwneshwar and thereafter by Acharya Mahashraman Prawas Vyavastha Samiti, 2017 Kolkata. Enthusiastically Involvement of all the shrawak sharawikas from Vishakhapattanam, Andhra, Western Orissa, Eastern Orissa and Greater Kolkata was admirable. Sadhvishriji celeberated Maryada Mahotsav at Kesinga with Sadhvi shri Rakesh Kumari Ji (Baytu). During the journey, Sadhvishriji preached the principles and teachings of Lord Mahavira, Acharya Bhikshu and Acharya Mahasharmanji’s ongoing Ahimsa Yatra which shall reach Kolkata in June 2017 for Chaturmas.

Sadhvi Shree Piyush Prabha Ji also completed the on foot journey from Hyderabad to South Howrah of about 1600 Kms. In 165 days During the Journey, which began on 15th November, 2016, the responsibility of Rasta Seva was ably borne by Terapanth Sabha, Hyderabad upto Bhuwneshwar and thereafter by Acharya Mahashraman Prawas Vyavastha Samiti, 2017 Kolkata. Enthusiastically Involvement of all the Shrawak Sharawikas from Hyderabad, Andhra, Telangana, Orissa and Greater Kolkata was admirable. During the journey, Sadhvishriji covered many parts of Telangana- Andhra like Vijaywada, Rajamundhry, Vishakhapattanam, Surkakulam, Coastal Orissa- Berhampore, Bhuwneshwar, Cuttack, Balasore, Jaleshwar etc. and West Bengal- Kolaghat, Howrah etc. preaching the principles and teachings of Lord Mahavira, Acharya Bhikshu and Acharya Mahasharmanji’s ongoing Ahimsa Yatra which shall reach Kolkata in June 2017 for Chaturmas.

All the Eight Sadhvis of both the groups are visiting Kolkata for the first time after their initiation as Jain Sadhvis. After Bhuvneshwar and Cuttack, both the groups of Sadhwis began their Journey together towards Kolkata. The further journey from there to Kolkata began from20th March, 2017 under the Rasta Seva by Acharyashri Mahashraman Chaturmas Prawas Vyavastha Samiti 2017, Kolkata, which is working under its dynamic President Sri Kamal Dugar. Mahavir Jayanti was celeberated at Jaleshwar in Orissa on 9th April 2017 and the Mahaprayan Diwas of Acharya Mahapragya Ji was celebrated on 22nd April, 2017 at Kolaghat in West Bengal. A good number of lay followers from Greater Kolkata were present on the occasion including Kolkata Sabha President Sri Tejkaran Bothra.
