“Om Namah Siddibehyo”
Fifth day (30-Aug-2017) of Dashalakshna Mahaparva: Uttama Satya dharma (Truthfulness) - To speak truth, affectionate and use words that don’t cause injury to any living being.
Satyam: Means speaking the truth in all the circumstances (ZERO lie).
a) Avoid unnecessary speaking, speak using minimum words, with complete information and true in nature. Over speaking disturbs the stillness of the mind.
Consider the person who lies and lives in a fear of being exposed. To support one lie the person has to utter hundred more and end up in a tangled web of lies which leads to untrustworthy, disrespect and unreliable.
Lying leads to an influx of kuk karma Bhanda (Bad deeds).
b) Satya comes from the word Sat, which means existence/true nature. Existence is a quality of the soul. Recognising the soul's true nature while we speak and practising the same is Nischay (Supreme) uttama Satya Dharma.
Vyavahara (Worldly life): Speaking/communicating is very important in our entire life and we have to practice effective speaking which is completely true in nature, it also includes qualities like soft speaking, kind, affectionate, respectful, informative, harmless, fluent. Speaking in true nature will creates trust, confidence, respect, good network and reduces the conflict.
Always see to it our true speech and action (Karma) should harmonise.
