We are cancelling our Senior Program on Saturday, 12/16/207. It is very cold for last couple of days and there is forecast of snow showers on Saturday. The road conditions and parking lot may be slushy and slippery. With these hazardous conditions in perspective, our program is cancelled.

We greatly appreciate your continued interest and support for our programs and will plan the next program when conditions are better.

We request all society members who will like to make  pledge payments prior to the year end, the temple office will be open on Sunday, 12/17/2017 from 11 AM to 2 PM. Check and cash payment can be either mailed / deposited in the box.  All pledge payments received / postmarked by 12/31/2017 will be reflected in the 2017 Year-End Statement.

We heartily thank Geetha Raghu, Alka Jupudi, Hemant Babtiwale and Sanjay Deshpande for presenting melodious musical charity concert - Journey of Ragas - Bandish Bahar - 5th edition - a fund raiser for Jivdaya at JSGD. We are thankful to organizers, all volunteers and donors to make it successful. We had 150+ attendees and raised more than $5000 through this event. The event was accompanied by light snacks.

The proceeds will benefit Sasha Farms - Animal Shelter and Children's Center of Detroit - Winter Blanket Donation program.

With great pleasure we will like to notify JSGD members that Hetaben's Diksha Date will be on 04/25/2018. The Diksha will take place at Athava Lane, Surat. More details will follow...
