Om Arham

We wish everyone a spiritually uplifting and joyous New Year. JVB Sunday Programme on 7 January 2018 will be on Value of Jainism by Rajeev Shah.It is possible to link almost all fields to spirituality - Ecology, Science, Arts, Astronomy....what about Finance? The talk will give a brief overview on financial derivatives and use the theory behind it to discuss the Value of Jainism. In this fast paced materialistic world, is there need to practise Spirituality? If so, many feel that the appropriate time to follow spirituality is during old age....We are residing in a age of rapid technological advances and a volatile environment. Should we make the time or have any inclination for spirituality? All these issues will be discussed against the backdrop of the Option Pricing model...All are welcome especially youth who may wish to get a primer on financial derivatives and appreciate the "financial" value of practising Jainism

** Please note that it is not a financial talk but will link spirituality to finance
