विद्यालय परिसर में आयोजित मुख्य प्रवचन कार्यक्रम के दौरान उपस्थित श्रद्धालुओं को आचार्यश्री ने अपनी अमृतवाणी का रसपान कराते हुए कहा कि साधु के पंच महाव्रतों में तीसरा महाव्रत सर्व अदत्तादान विरमण अर्थात सभी प्रकार की चोरियों की त्याग। साधु को इसका त्याग तो होता ही है, गृहस्थ को भी यथासंभव चोरी से बचने का प्रयास करना चाहिए। आदमी को अपने जीवन में चोरी से बचने का प्रयास करना चाहिए और ईमानदारी से परिपूर्ण जीवन जीने का प्रयास करना चाहिए। जीवन में ईमानदारी रखने के लिए आदमी को अचैर्य का त्याग करना होगा।
चोरी एक पाप होता है। जैन शासन में वर्णित 18 पापों में तीसरा पाप है चोरी। जो आदमी चोरी का त्याग करता है, उसमें ईमानदारी आती है। जो सुकृत पवित्र कामना वाला आदमी चोरी नहीं करता, उसका कल्याण हो सकता है। चोरी से दूर रहने वाले आदमी से विपत्ति दूर भागती है। जिस प्रकार सूर्य से अंधेरा दूर भागता है, उसी प्रकार ईमानदार आदमी से विपत्ति दूर भागती है। अचैर्यव्रतधारी से विपत्ति दूर भागती और चोरी करने वाले व्यक्ति का कभी भी विपत्ति से सामना हो सकता है। इसलिए आदमी को अचैर्य से बचने का प्रयास करना चाहिए।
चोरी से आत्मा का नुकसान होता है। आदमी जो भी पाप करता है, उसे भोगना होता है। चोरी से आत्मा मलिन होती है और आत्मा का ह्रास होता है, इसलिए आदमी को चोरी से बचने का प्रयास करना चाहिए। जितना संभव हो सके, आदमी को अपने जीवन में संपूर्ण रूप से चोरी का त्याग न हो सके तो बहुलांश में चोरी का त्याग करने का प्रयास करना चाहिए और अपने जीवन का कल्याण करना चाहिए।
