As per the guidelines of ABTMM, Mahila Mandal, Coimbatore held a workshop “Empowerment of Women” on the occasion of International Women's Day. The event commenced with the recital of Namaskar Mantra. TMM president, Madhu Bantia welcomed the gathering and motivated the women to specialize in any skill of their interest, so that they can lead a independent life. After this there was a soulful presentation of the motivational song "Komal hai kamzor nahi,Shakti kaa Naam hi naari hai".
A workshop on personal development and grooming was held by the chief speaker Neelam Patel. The thanksgiving was done by Secretary Monica Lunia, and the event was hosted by Pragya Baid.
In the second session of the event, the huge rally commenced with the recital of Namaskar Mantra. Mandal Geet was sung by all the members. Secretary Monica Lunia read out the message of Sadhvi Pramukha Mahashramani Kanakprabha. The President Madhu Banthia read out the message of the national President Kumud Kachhara. The Corporation Counselor Smt. Usha and the presidents of all the Terapanth organisations were felicitated. Three women Auto Rickshaw drivers too were felicitated. The Counsellor Kannuyan flagged the rally, in which around 250 women participated... The rally was well organized by Nikita Banthia.
