Chief Minister of West Bengal Mamta Banrjee invited women of Kolkata to assemble at Gandhi Statue on occasion of International Women's Day. 20000 women participated in the meeting. It is great honour for Mahila Mandal, South Kolkata as organiser invited representative of Mahila Mandal on the dais. Dr Pukhraj Sethia president, Veena Samsukha secretary, Trustee Suraj Bararia, Gulab Surana and Sangeeta Sekhani given place on stage. Many Minister, M.P. Mayor and councillor were present on the dais. South Howrah Mahila Mandal took out rally to reach Gandhi Statue.
