Paralokāśaṃsāprayoga

A type of Aticāra (partial transgression) of Saṃlekhanā (scraping penance unto death, i.e., emaciation of passions by a graded course of penance (fasting));

it consists in longing for reincarnation as a god in the next life.

paralokāśaṃsāprayogo 'devo'haṃ simm' itxiādi.
