Hubli Yuvak Parishad had decided on the World Environment Day which is celebrated on 5th June every year that they will be planting saplings all over Hubli year around. The campaign was kick started by planting around 25 saplings in a newly constructed park and even got them fenced. They even gave tips to the people around to take care of the environment and take needed measures to protect nature and greenery. Last year they had planted around 125 saplings in the VRL Layout from which around 100 have grown into trees now.
The new elected President Vinod Vedmutha thanked the members for extending their support for the noble cause. The Yuvak Parishad members did a commendable job and organized the event well and made it a grand success.
