Ahimsa Yatra reached Pallavaram, Chennai today.
His Holiness Acharya Mahashraman preached in today's Prime Sermon about the Industriousness of Samvar (the factor which stops Karma to bond with soul)- one should accept penance of not attempting violence, falsehood and thieving tendencies. As more mortification occurs when more penance is done. If he is a Samyak Drishti (known to the virtues of Shravak) then Samvar can be attained. His Holiness explained this with a phrase - seeing an ascetic is beneficial which a fortunate one can do, by this the punishment of Sooli (gallows) can turn in Shool (thorn). Therefore penance and mortification should exist in our life.
