Jai Jinendra! We want to inform members that Painting of our temple (inside and out) has begun this Monday (Aug 20^th) and will be going on for next few weeks (except Paryushan days). They will be taking few sections at a time to paint. It is a humble request to be careful (especially the kids) in the areas where the painters are working. We regret any inconvenience this may cause. Thank you.

Our society is fortunate to have Panditji Shri Parasbhai during the Paryushan (09/06 through 09/14). Members are requested to participate in this once a year auspicious event for lectures and bhakti. We have planned for morning lectures, covering various interesting topics on Jainism and Panditji Shri Parasbhaitopics for the evening lectures.

• This year, we will be performing “Paryushan Vadhamana” on Wed, 09/05 evening. Shri Parasbhai will help perform vidhi and bhakti.
• Children Prabhavana is on Sat, 09/08 evening. Please contact Hemesh Shah @ (248) 755-9924, if you want to sponsor Prabhavana.
• Please RSVP by 09/03/18 to help us prepare the food on the 09/09 for Swapna Darshan Day. Also, please note that same Swamivatsalya food will be served for Ekasana on this day.

Ekasana Guidelines:

1. Please provide your name and the days you will be doing Ekasana on the bulletin board at least 1 day in advance or call our Pujari, Deepakbhai (248-851-5246) to put your name.
2. Members are requested to bring their own plates, spoons, cups, etc. for Ekasana and should clean them and take them back.
3. No Box lunch will be provided to the members doing Ekasana at home.
4. All seniors attending the morning program at temple during Paryushan are requested to take lunch at temple.

We will be celebrating Das Lakshan Parva (09/14 through 09/25). This is the festival of ten universal virtues like forgiveness, contentment and self-restraint are venerated and worshipped for self -purification. Prakshal and Das Lakshan Puja will be performed in the morning and Hindi Swadhyay will be discoursed in the evening. Please see detailed schedule.

Jain Center of Central Ohio, Columbus sangh will be visiting our temple on Saturday, 09/22 from 11 AM to 2 PM, as part of 'Chaitya Paripati' (Panch Tirth Yatra). We would encourage JSGD members to join us, in welcoming them and celebrating their visit to our sangh. Puja/Chaityavandan will be followed by Swamivatsalya Lunch.

We had about 90 yatris participated in this year Panch Tirth Yatra. We visiting London, Toronto, Niagara Falls & Windsor Jain centers. Though many participated first time, everyone enjoyed and successfully completed this year yatra.. All Jain centers provided warm welcome to our sangh and wonderful hospitality to our members.
