Satsang Opportunity "Aho Shramaanyam" - Jun 21, 2019
We have a unique Satsang opportunity with a learned guest from Tapovan as described below:Date and Time: 8:30 PM on Friday, June 21, 2019 in the Aradhana Hall.
Tapovani Shri Jinaybhai is known as “Guruma no dikaro”. He has studied Jain knowledge for 8 years at Tapovan Ahmedabad under guidance and grace of Yugpradhan Acharya-Sam Panyas Pravar Shri Chandrasekhar Vijayji Maharaja Saheb - famous as ‘Guruma’. He has been conducting Paryushan aaradhana (pravachan, pratikraman and anusthaans) at various overseas Jain sanghs including USA, UK, Kenya and India since 1999, over 18 years now.
“Aho Shraamanyam” answers the importance of Charitra / Shraman dharma in life. The basis of dharma is Moksha. And Shraman jivan is like a pre-condition. Right practice followed by right knowledge is Shraamanyam. Here in USA, we get almost all the means and modes to better practice Jain way of life except one. We don’t get to physically see or meet (darshan) Mahavrati Shraman guru bhagwants. Generally they don’t / can’t travel here on a flight. We hear a lot about people taking “Dikshas” in India. How the Diksha changes them is worth thinking about.
Let’s engross ourselves and learn about how we the Shravak / Shravika can gain the fragrance of “Shraman dharma” while living in USA.
Contact: Dr. Mahendrabhai Shah for further details.
Note: In the Kalpa Sutra - 1 of the 3 names of Lord Mahavir was SHRAMAN BHAGWAN MAHAVIR.
JAANA Shibir At JCSC - Jun 29 - Jul 4, 2019
Jain Adhyatma Academy of North America presents the 20th Annual Shibir from June 29 - July 4, 2019.
Walking the Path Of Adhyatma To Get Rid of Mithyatva continues...
A great opportunity to learn ‘JAIN ADHYATMA’ as described in the “Paramagams” written by Kundkundacharya and all other Acharyas subsequent to him in his tradition, and greatly revered by Todarmalji and Shri Kanjiswami. Through daily discourses on various Paramagams such as Samaysaar, Pravachansaar and Niyamsaar for over 45 years, Shri Kanji Swami reintroduced Jain Adhyatma which was covered up under the clouds of hollow rituals and wrong beliefs.
SHIBIR WILL BE HELD at Jain Center of Southern California, Buena Park, CA 90621
