The Support Of Faith: 50 ►Reflective Effects of Violence and Non-violence

Published: 26.02.2020

Violence is a standing problem. In past, its solution was searched. At present its solution is being searched. Future will also deserve the solution. In general, simple solution of violence is non-violence. But it is not possible for any social creature to live life without violence. Such violence is related with initial violence (आरंभजा हिंसा). Man wants to live a carefree life. If anyone hinders to his living in any way, he uses weapons. This is aggressive violence (विरोधजा हिंसा). Violence committed to live life and to keep it secured is also violence, but it is related to utility. Uneven systems and adverse circumstances also instigate a person to be violent. Such violence emerges from purposes. Some incidents also happen such that the person becomes the victim without any reason. This is resolved violence (संकल्पजा हिंसा). Its justification is always being questioned.

Another aspect of thought is that violence and non-violence have no relevance with killing or non-killing of any creature. If the attitude of man is restless, definitely it will cause violence irrespective of the fact that the creature lives or die. Perplexion is violence, non-restraint is violence, urge is violence, impatience is violence and evil feeling is violence. It depicts that violence generates in thoughts even before its exposure. Source of thoughts is man’s brain. As such it is necessary to train the brain. Unless the brain is trained, tendencies of violence will prevail there. Without inactivating these tendencies, non-violence cannot be put into force only by holding seminars and shouting slogans. In this angle, it 1s required to pay to the reflective effects of violence minutely.

Alike violence, non-violence also reflexes. Due to activation of these reflexes, the heart is purified. By purification of heart friendly feeling for all the creatures in the world arouses and non-violence co-exists. Where there is non-violence there is friendship. Where there is friendship there is non-violence. The pleasure that a person feels from the reflexes of none violence, never be felt by the reflexes of violence.

Co-existence is the outcome of non-violence. If man accepts the existence of others like him, -gives recognition to the existence of the persons having opposite views, violence will no longer persist. Violence sticks to only those places where a person think, that he himself or other can never live together, either the other will remain or he himself—such intention ‘grooms only in violent scenario. In order to crack this intention, the elements of conscious mind, is the only way to get rid of the same.
