The Support Of Faith: 67 ►Conceivability of Appropriate Approach

Published: 12.03.2020

A Western thinker has categorized man into three classes—alive, dead, neither alive nor dead. Persons of first category are healthy and joyous. Cells of their body function accurately and their sensibilities are responsive. Persons of second category are neither healthy nor joyous. New cells of their body do not fainting to that extent as that of the same break. Their sensibilities are inactive. Persons of third category suffer from halfness in terms of both- body and mind. Their bodies are idle and sensibilities appear to be inactive. Life -of such people is neither meaningful nor their.death has any bearing.

If categorization of the people in the world, as a whole, is made, the number of such persons either fully alive or dead will be less. Most of the people will come under the third category. They eat, sleep and do other work in firm state of mind. Their approach towards life is not appropriate. They shoulder the burden of life, but cannot enjoy life.

Now the question is why men live a half-hearted life? Whether they are depressed with life? Whether they are not aware of their responsibility? Whether the direction to live a perfect full edged life is not available to them? What are the reasons which compel them to live a haphazard life?

If we deliberate on this context, it appears that most important reason is that man’s intellect is awakening so fast, but their wisdom is sleeping so deeply. Intellect leads to imbalance. Balance is guided by wisdom. To awaken wisdom means awakening of conscience. A person with conscience possesses appropriate approach towards both—life and world. Conceivability of appropriate approach may transform the culture of haphazard or half-hearted state of mind.
