International Preksha Meditation Camp

By Amita Khokhawat & Deepmala R Khokhawat, Surat, India

7th IPMC:

My bhabhi and I sincerely devote our humble salutation to His Holiness Acharya Shri Mahapragyaji & all his disciples. We feel great pleasure in sharing such a blissful journey of ours on this path of self-awakening.

We would love to initiate our experience from the first day when we reached Anuvibha Bhavan our ultimate destination. Hardly had we stepped in, we were given the long schedule of the day, which seemed incomprehensible to us. We never had such a tight schedule before. According to the days’ schedule our sessions started one by one, which we could hardly understand.

Since we were not aware about effects of meditation, we simply had slept instead of focusing on the various centres. After the entire day’s session when we reached hotel, we felt very relaxed but were startled by the next day’s schedule, which started at 4:30 in the morning.

The next day when we reached Anuvibha Bhavan, we were excited about the Kayotsarg at 11.00 hrs to cover up our incomplete sleep. Then we had various lectures & interaction sessions on meditation topics, which really helped us to understand the different concepts of meditation. We know that study of meditation is very vast, which requires a practice over years & years but understanding the basics helps us to initiate to meditation.

Unlike the previous day we were now actually waiting to implement the concepts.

As the days passed our excitement was doubled and we were really getting the feeling as instructed by our teachers (gurus)

The schedule was now quite comfortable to us. All the lectures and corresponding practices were flowing in a rhythm. Even we were given equal opportunities to raise our queries (jegyasa) to Yuvacharya Shri Mahashraman ji and his disciples, which made the session more exciting and joyful.

We would love to share one of our experiences of Kayotsarg where we could really feel that our body and soul were different. We could feel our body floating in the air along with electric vibrations, which we experienced in our bodies at the centres instructed. The surrounding environment was filled with the streams of bright white colour. Everything seemed so calm, so quiet.

After going through such a stage in life, any body can hardly resist himself to believe in the power (shakti) of the vital energy within oneself.

Moreover, we were equally blessed with the lectures & practices conducted by Muni Kishanlal ji. His profound words were enough to help us meditate.

One of his experiment of Meditation startled us where we actually activated our subconscious mind and made some resolutions there in. We never had experienced this before

We whole-heartedly thank all the spiritual bodies for imparting such a pleasant feeling, which ignites the flame of spirituality in our life to make it more disciplined and bright. We would also like to thank our instructors Mr. Ranjit Dugar, Mrs. Shivani Bothra, Mr. S. K. Jain & many more without whom this art of seeing and knowing ourselves would not have been possible.

Last but not the least, we would like to thank our management for supporting us and adjusting themselves with our fidgetiness.
