Paruyshan
Paryushan is of deep spiritual significance to all Jains. It is a time to reflect upon one’s deeds of the past year and work out every little way we can improve in the coming year to put us on the right path to spiritual salvation. This is the ideal time to refocus on Mahavir Bhagwan’s messages of ahimsa (non-violence), anekantavad (open-minedness) and aparigraha (non-possessiveness) and that “Parasparagraho Jivanam” (all life is interdependent). Everyone at SCVP wishes you experience all the joys and benefits of Paryushan and extends a sincere request for forgiveness for anything we have done or said which may have caused you upset.
