Diwali is a festival of enlightening and filling one’s body and mind with happiness. Under the guidance of Kolkata Mahila Mandal and the pious presence of Sadhvishri Kanakshriji; “Khushiyon Ke Deep Jalayen (Light the lamps of happiness)”, a workshop was presented by the Kanyamandal of Kolkata at Mahasabha Samawsaran.

This 3 hour interesting and effective programme commenced with the Mangalacharan by Priti Jain.  Smt. Veena Shyamsukha, secretary of Kolkata Terapanth  Mahila Mandal explained how to enlighten life. Smt. Alka Sankhla, retired judge from Surat was the chief guest of the programme. She presented her happiness on being there and also invited the girls to lead an enlightened life by awakening the inherent source of happiness. Sadhvishri Madhulataji imparted training to girls with the retention of words “SEE” and “WATCH”. In her inspiring speech Sadhvishri Kanakshriji said - happiness is present everywhere, all we have to do is find them, collect them and use them as a bridge to cross all hurdles and to live a happy, inspiring and successful life. Anu Bardia taught decoration of Diyas and Rangoli Making.

Preksha Chhajer, organizer and Nikita Bhadani, co-organizer, appealed the growth of Kanya Mandal. Sunita Sethia was responsible for the assembly of this beautiful programme.
