MEGA Preksha Meditation & Yoga Camp at VNSGU Gujarat, India

Veer Narmad South Gujarat University organized one week NSS Camp from 28/10/09 to 3/11/09. Three thousand students and program officers of fifty-five collages from South Gujarat colleges took part in this camp.

VNSGU invited Jain Vishva Bharati University for providing training for Preksha Meditation and Yoga to them. The team of yoga experts was under the dynamic leadership of Samani Pratibha Pragya ji along with the following   university Faculty members visited the respective University.

At the inaugural session Samani Pratibha Pragya addressed the academic galaxy on Science of living as a great contribution by Acharya Mahapragya ji in the field of education for healthy living. Everyday from 6:30 am to 8 am classes were held by the samaniji & other faculty members with demonstrations regularly. Which includes Yogic Exercises meditations, contemplations, asanas & sankalap sutras. This program was appreciated by each & everyone. More than 96% participants are in favour of such programmers should be part of their curriculum.

Key note addressed was delivered by Samani Dr. Mangal Pragya, Vice chancellor of Jain Vishwa Bharati University on “Youth & Positive thinking”. She emphasized on the youth for the right direction to channelise their energy. Youth can do wonders for the nation & building the environment for the nation. Dr. B.A. Prajapati, Vice chancellor of Gujarat University gave the presidential address to the august gathering & remembering the innovations of Jain Vishwa Bharati University.

This was a great success in the field of education.
