Necessity Of Mahavira’s Teachings For An Ideal Society : Shiela Dikshit

Chief minister of Delhi Smt. Shiela Dikshit said that Social and non-governmental institutions should come forward and participate in education, health and public welfare. Sukhi Parivar Movement is a special creative and constructive undertaking to develop and uplift the tribals. In the leadership of Gani Rajendra Vijay many public welfare activities are working in tribal areas of Gujarat.

Welcoming Acharya Shrimad Vijay Virendra Vijay, Gani Rajendra Vijay founder of Sukhi Parivar Movement and other Jain Saints at his residence, Smt. Shiela Dikshit expressed the above statements. A delegate of Sukhi Parivar Movement was present at this meeting. Smt. Shiela Dikshit also launched the book “Mahaveer ka Samajshastra” written by Gani Rajendra Vijay and described the Jain saint as a great thinker who had given his independent thoughts on diverse subjects like economics, democracy and education. Smt. Shiela Dikshit said that Bhagwan Mahaveera is not only a Spiritual Leader but also a social reformer. He is a real Spiritual Scientist. She said that this Book is very useful and � Mahaveera’s teachings focus on overall enrichment of the Social and individual life. She said that Saints are great sources of energy. The decline of moral and character values can be stopped in their leadership. Smt. Shiela Dikshit said that guidance given by great saints like Gani Rajendra Vijay� only could develop India in true sense and by following the path of moral values, India can emerge as one of the leading nations of the world. She said the ‘Sukhi Parivar Movement’ would inspire people to lead an austere life and practice discipline, sacrifice and dedication.

On this occasion Sukhi Parivar Abhiyan founder Gani Rajendra Vijay said that today if we follow truth and non-violence of Mahavir, Buddha and Mahatma Gandhi, definitely we can easily encounter half the problems. A nation will build on these basic principles. We hope that the Sukhi Parivar Abhiyan will bring some drastic changes in the tribal lifestyle and their social status.”

According to Gani Rajendra Vijay poverty and hunger were two main causes of violence. He also advocated minimising the gap between haves and have-nots. Gani Rajendra Vijay said that � “The philosophy of non-violence � has no meaning without the application of self-discipline. Gani Rajendra Vijay said to Smt. Dikshit that the teaching of Mahavir should be a part of the � education pattern, so that it can reach every man. Gani Rajendra Vijay said that at present many problems like poverty, illiteracy and communal fraction confront the Nation and World, but the biggest problems are terrorism and Naxals. Terrorism and Naxalism grow due to lack of balanced development. We are trying to solve these problems through Sukhi Parivar Movement. Mr Rajkumar Jain Secretary Vallabh Smarak, Mr. Sunil Jain, Mr.Lalit Garg Secretary of Sukhi Parivar Foundation also welcomed Chief minister of Delhi Smt. Shiela Dikshit with flowers and a Memonto and presented him latest issues of publications.

The main members of foundation Mr. Mukesh Agrawal, Shri Gopal Sharma, Mr Kanan Bhawsar, Mr Ramesh Bhai, (Gujarat) � were also present during the meeting.
