APOWA - Action for Protection of Wild Animals

Introduction:

Earth day is an annual observance held on April 22 every year to increase public awareness on the environment. Earth Day has been used as a powerful catalyst to involve community in making a difference towards a healthy, prosperous and sustainable future. We stand at a critical moment, a time when humankind must choose its future. While environmental degradation hurts us all, the consequences of fewer natural resources and increasing of climate change impacts strike animal biodiversity and poor people especially hard. As the society becomes increasingly interdependent and fragile, the future at once holds great peril and great promise.
